VIEW PROJECTS

This charcoal study, titled Voices, utilizes deep tonal contrasts to explore the internal cacophony of spiritual and societal pressures. The raw, smudged textures of the charcoal mirror the chaotic influence of Satan and the destructive grip of drugs on the human psyche. Through bold shadow-work, the piece visualizes the heavy, suffocating nature of these dark, competing narratives

 

In the charcoal work The Cursed, the medium’s inherent grit captures the harrowing descent into drug dependency. Heavy, expressive strokes and deep blacks create a sense of entrapment, illustrating how addiction consumes the individual’s identity. The smudged, atmospheric shadows evoke a haunting atmosphere, where the physical toll of substance abuse is rendered with raw, unflinching honesty, challenging the viewer to confront the darkness within this cycle.
